Generative AI Usage Policy

With the remarkable advancements in Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), academic publishing is entering a new era filled with both promising opportunities and complex challenges. To preserve transparency, authenticity, and scientific rigor, our journal has established the following policies regarding the use of GenAI technologies throughout the manuscript preparation, peer review, and publication processes:

  1. Full Disclosure:
Authors must explicitly disclose any use of Generative AI tools in the creation, editing, or development of their manuscripts. Failure to do so, if detected at any stage by the journal, will result in immediate removal of the manuscript from the peer review process or, if already accepted, withdrawal of the article prior to publication.

  2. Supplementary Tool Only:
GenAI may be employed solely as an auxiliary aid to enhance language, grammar, or formatting. All scientific content, data analysis, and conclusions must be independently conceived and validated by the authors.

  3. Ethical Integrity:
Use of AI must never compromise intellectual property rights, introduce inaccuracies, or distort research findings.

  4. Transparency in Peer Review and Publication:
If GenAI tools are utilized during peer review or editorial stages, such usage must be openly communicated by editors or reviewers to maintain trust and clarity.

  5. Authors’ Responsibility:
Regardless of AI involvement, the ultimate responsibility for the accuracy, originality, and credibility of the work rests entirely with the authors.

Our journal embraces the potential of Generative AI to enhance scholarly communication, while steadfastly upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and academic excellence. By implementing these policies, we strive to foster a culture of openness and integrity as we navigate this transformative frontier in scientific publishing.
